i-XALL is the culmination of more than five years of work by DataTech, shaped by decades of experience implementing and supporting HR business systems across different industries and markets.
Its development began with a simple observation: HR technology too often sits at one of two extremes. On one side are systems that are easy to use but too limited to support the realities of a modern HR department. On the other are large, complex platforms that are powerful, but expensive to configure, difficult to adapt, and often dependent on continuous vendor involvement.
DataTech set out to build something different.
To understand i-XALL, it is important to first understand the problem it was designed to solve. HR is not a static function. Policies change. Organisational structures evolve. Payroll rules differ between markets. Approval processes are redesigned. New employee categories appear. Benefits change. Compliance requirements develop. Integrations come and go.
Unlike many financial or transactional systems, HR technology must continuously adapt to the organisation using it.
This requirement for constant change influenced the architecture of i-XALL from the beginning.
i-XALL combines an extensive suite of HR functionality with a flexible, low-code platform that allows organisations to configure, extend and adapt the system without constantly returning to the software vendor for development.
That distinction is important.
i-XALL was not originally built for a single customer and later converted into a commercial product. Nor did it begin as one small HR module that gradually accumulated features over time. Its architecture was designed around the wider operational challenges DataTech had encountered across the HR industry.
The objective was not simply to create another HR application. It was to create an HR platform capable of evolving with the organisation.
That philosophy extends across workflows, approvals, employee data, payroll, time and attendance, reporting, integrations, automation, native AI functionalities and agentic capabilities and the broader employee experience. Instead of forcing organisations to reshape their processes around the software, i-XALL combines technology and architecture required to bring the software closer to the way the organisation operates.
For organisations currently paying recurring customisation and integration fees, relying heavily on vendors for relatively minor changes, or operating within rigid cloud platforms that offer little room for adaptation, i-XALL presents a fundamentally different proposition.
Because when it comes to HR, every organisation ultimately requires something close to a tailor-made solution.
The difficulty is that truly bespoke software is expensive to build, difficult to maintain and even harder to evolve.
The better answer is a platform designed to provide the flexibility of a tailor-made solution without the limitations of traditional bespoke development.
- An open architecture.
- Extensive HR functionality.
- Low-code adaptability.
A platform designed to change as your organisation changes. That is i-XALL
